The Covid-19 pandemic has been difficult for many but the hall is now "open for business!" While a mask is no longer mandated, you are more than welcome to wear one in the hall if you wish.
While the hall was closed we have renovated, redesigned and repainted the entire hall. Come and see what you think about the improvements; you are guaranteed a warm welcome.
The main hall has a stage used for many forms of entertainment, a large screen for free film nights and publicly broadcast events.
A fully equipped kitchen with range cooker, microwaves and two double sinks.
An impressive bar serving real ales as well as draught beers, many bottled beers, ciders and lagers.
The hall has a developing lighting system used for performances. The bar is trying new beers and lagers. We now have Miltree Rolling Mile, fine real ale which is proving very popular.
The hall provides many outdoor facilities too: a MUGA, a selection of outdoor fitness equipment, a marked football pitch, a childrens' play area and a nature garden.
There are now three defibrillators in the village
If you wish to book the village hall you can make use of the online "Hallmaster" system.
Here, you can see what is on in the hall and even make a provisional booking if you want to.

Benefiting from a grant from the Glassmoor Windfarm Community Fund, we have purchased the recycled materials for a new 15 metre deck.
It took nearly three weeks to construct.
